Dr. Adam Elmegirab's Teapot Bitters 100ml
Country of origin: Scotland Alcohol content: 38% Alcohol by Volume
Originally formulated in January 2012, Teapot Bitters are a unique, hand-crafted cocktail ingredient by Dr. Adam Elmegirab's Bitters, inspired by the combined medicinal history of tea and bitters. Ancient tea and spice routes both shaped historic civilisations and their impact can still be felt today in Tea Rooms around the world, with beverages such as Masala Chai, spiced milk tea, being sought after globally as well as providing a major influence to this bottling. Compounded using the finest natural botanicals, these bitters are now sought after by bartenders around the globe to be used in a number of classic cocktails and original libations such as the Rum Punch à la Mim, created by Adam Elmegirab in 2012.
Bitter almond with hints of black tea, rose-water, and vanilla on the nose. Predominant notes of bitter black tea mingle with allspice, clove, vanilla, creamy hazelnut and a hint of citrus all tempered by a soft sweetness. Long bitter almond finish.

About The House of Botanicals:
Situated underneath Aberdeen’s railway line and next door to its largest shopping centre, Union Square, The House of Botanicals is a 2500 square foot unit which is a combination of gin distillery, liqueurist, bitters manufactory, tasting room and shop. While now producing a range of products, it all started in the late 2000s with The Jerry Thomas Project—an endeavour by Adam Elan-Elmigirab to recreate all the drinks from Professor Thomas’ seminal tome The Bon-Vivant's Companion. It was this venture which conceived the reformulation of Boker’s Bitters, and later Dr. Adam Elmegirab’s Bitters Ltd; now trading as The House of Botanicals.
