Sherry

Sherry is a fortified wine made with white grapes from the "Sherry Triangle" in southwestern Spain. It is made in both sweet and dry styles: fino, manzanilla, palo cortado, amontillado, and oloroso being dry, Pedro Ximénez and moscatel being sweet. Jerez-Xérès-Sherry is a protected designation of origin and similar locally-made wines are sold under the name "apera" in Australia.
