Bergamot is a variety of sour orange, with a fragrant oil most notably used to flavor Earl Grey Tea. These bitters combine organic Bergamot Oil with Sweet and Bitter Orange, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Summit Hops and other herbs and spices.
About Miracle Mile:
Longtime cocktail geek Louis Anderman started his own bitters company Miracle Mile Bitters Co when Joe Keeper of Silver Lake’s Bar Keeper—a head shop for cocktail obsessives—fell in love with Anderman’s homemade batch of chocolate-chili bitters and persuaded him to start selling it. Thank Joe that they now have a veritable variety of Louis' bitters to flavor their cocktails.
Perfect for clear spirits such as Gin or Pisco.
A disappointment for lovers of bergamotBy: Warwick Raverty on 28 June 2019I am a man who loves the aroma of bergamot orange. Whether in Earl Grey tea, Earl Grey marmalade or cologne. Unfortunately, this supposedly bergamot bitters has no aroma of bergamot that I can detect. The bitters is rather weak in flavour - about three times the volume need to be added to Indian tonic water to achieve the same enhancement in flavour. The flavour is not unpleasant - a bit like a cheap perfume and not very citrussy, but it's definitely not the flavour of bergamot.
