Founded in 1909 by Giuseppe Cappelletti with the aim of providing natural herbal remedies to the people of Trentino, Cappelletti grew in the 1920s to produce Elisir Novasalus—a wine based infusion of herbs, spices, roots, and flowers. This proved popular and other liqueurs were added to the range, along with grappa. Cappelletti is family owned and run, as it has been for four generations.
