Its bright peppermint bouquet and invigorating menthol freshness make it a standout addition to cocktails in every season. Used in everything from teas to confectionery, peppermint is celebrated for its versatility. Bob’s Peppermint Bitters brings a refreshing profile to summer cocktails while adding a warming, aromatic lift to winter serves. Stefano Cossio used this bitter in his cocktail, Pomme Allure, which was the winner of the Calvados World Cup 2009.

Well-defined peppermint bouquet with a distinctive menthol flavour. Citrus hints and a slightly bitter woody finish.

A touch of peppermint bitters adds an indulgent flourish to an Irish Coffee, Mint Julep or Mojito. Chocolate friendly spirits such as bourbon, aged rum and coffee liqueurs gain an intensified minty edge that enhances their richness.

Non alcoholic drinks also benefit beautifully. A few drops introduce a “holiday feel” to cola, lemonade or lime and soda. Bob’s Peppermint Bitters elevates a hot chocolate and adds a cooling sensation to milkshakes.

About Bob's Bitters:

Bob’s Bitters began when Bob Petrie was approached by Guiliano Morandin of the newly refurbished Dorchester Bar to create a range of bitters for the overhauled menu. Guilliano's idea was to create “The Gin Experience”, serving gin with a selection of bespoke bitters. Being the Head Pasty Chef of a Michelin starred restaurant at the time, Bob approached the task from a culinary perspective rather than following the traditional method of blending bitters from numerous botanicals. This meant making bitters featuring individual botanicals, thus giving greater control of the resulting flavour profile when crafting a drink. The resulting bitters were so well received that Bob was able to start making bitters full time, with his range being called for in the best bars in the world.
