Shrub & Co Spicy Ginger has been a favourite of the team since they began this experiment. The flavour can’t be compared easily to its cousins – ginger beer, ginger ale, or ginger syrup. Shrub & Co’s elixir is more complex and layered: the spice of the ginger comes through, its bite enhanced by the vinegar, but balanced perfectly by the cane sugar.
Shrub & Co Spicy Ginger's contribution to cocktails is epic – try The Austrian or The Fireside. For a simple cocktail, just pair 2 ounces of your favorite spirit with ¾ oz. of Spicy Ginger Shrub, splash with club soda, garnish as desired and enjoy. We also enjoy it on its own mixed with sparkling water as a refreshing alcohol-free libation.

HANDCRAFTED - ALL NATURAL - COLD PRESSED
1.5 oz gin
.75 oz Lillet Blanc
.5 oz Shrub & Co Spicy Ginger
.25 oz grapefruit juice
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Splash of fresh lemon juice
Add all ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake well and strain into a glass. Garnish with cracked white pepper.
2 oz blended scotch
.75 honey simple syrup
.5 oz fresh lemon juice
.5 oz Spicy Ginger Shrub
Barspoon Laphroaig Single Malt Whisky
Combine all ingredients except Laphroaig into shaker and fill with ice. Shake well and pour over rocks in a highball glass, add the barspoon of Laphroaig and serve with candied ginger.
Refrigerate after opening.
