We can ship to any address in Australia. We use Australia Post eParcel and eParcel Express for shipping. Both services offer tracking, a link to which will be emailed to you upon dispatch.
Orders are packed and dispatched on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, excluding public holidays. Orders placed after 10AM on these days will be dispatched the subsequent packing day. Orders are packed M-F during December.
Signature: By default, all orders require a signature upon delivery. Orders can be left without a signature if requested, with the exception of products that contain alcohol, including bitters. If no one is available to sign for the parcel, a collection card will be left in your post box advising you of the nearest Post Office or other outlet where it will be held for you to pick up. Please make sure you take your ID in order to pick up the parcel.
Postage Charges and delivery estimates:
If you select eParcel Express service, postage will be calculated at checkout based on weight. Estimated shipping time for eParcel Express is 1 day after dispatch to most metro areas (estimated 1 day - not guaranteed overnight). Please check the Australia Post website for destination-specific shipping times and delivery information. "Fitzroy VIC 3065” can be used in the “From” field when calculating delivery times to your area. During holiday periods these times may increase by 1–2 days.
For eParcel regular service a flat rate postage applies.

Most orders will be fulfilled the next day after the order is placed. We provide the following guidelines for the transit time of your order.

The majority of orders arrive well within these transit times, however if your order has still not arrived after the transit times above, please contact us.
Please add +2 days approx. for Christmas orders.
We also offer the option to pick up your order from our shop in Fitzroy. Simply choose ‘Pick Up' when selecting a shipping option. We will contact you with instructions for collection within 1-2 business days. Please note that pick up is unavailable until these instruction have been sent.

International orders may be subject to customs or import duties and applicable taxes on the importation of alcohol. Only Bitters is not responsible for these potential additional costs.
Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST), currently 10%, is built into our prices. This will be deducted off the total price at the time of charging for all international orders.
We use Australia Post Express Courier International service. Please allow for 4-7 working days for the arrival of your parcel. However, some customers do experience delays due to their countries' customs offices. If your order does not arrive within 7 days, please contact us to investigate. You can also use your tracking number to track within your country's postal service. Once a parcel arrives in the destination country, it is taken over by their postal service.
International shipping charges are calculated by weight. As a guide, the following are rough shipping prices per weight in Australian dollars.

You may return unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange, if the items are damaged or otherwise not as described. There are no exchanges or refunds for change of mind, so please select carefully. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you receive an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund earlier. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item. Or simply, Contact Us.
