This syrup is a collaboration between Melbourne’s Padre Coffee and Bowled Over Beverages, makers of sin-kō-nah, the tonic syrup used by Australia’s best bartenders. The new soda syrup takes the hard work out of making your own coffee tonic at home – simply pour over ice with a spritz of sparkling mineral water.
Made in Melbourne, kȯ-fē tonic syrup’s main ingredients are cinchona bark,,locally-grown citrus and Padre’s Seasonal Espresso Blend with notes of malt, toffee and roasted almond, using single origin coffees from worldly locations including Colombia and India . Minimal sugar – less than pre-mixed tonic water – balances out the flavours. A new take on iced coffee.
How to use kȯ-fē tonic syrup
Add 20mls of kȯ-fē tonic syrup to 200mls sparkling mineral water over ice.
For a boozy take on this caffeinated beverage, add gin, vodka or coffee liqueur.

Around one third less sugar than most commercial tonic waters, if mixed to recommended dilution ratio.
sin-kō-nah tonic syrup is the product of a small, family-run business based in Melbourne. They believe in doing things with care and hand-craft their syrup with locally grown citrus ... and local juniper when available! The family comes from orchardist roots and has a policy to support other small businesses wherever possible. One of the characteristics they sought to create in the product are minimal sugar levels - two of the family are type 2 diabetics. They wanted to create a delicious, adult mixer drink that contained no artificial sweetener and are proud to have done so.
