1 x Beefeater London Dry Gin (375ml).
Born and bred in the heart of London where it still remains after over 150 years. As the Spirit of London, Beefeater has absorbed the city’s creativity and energy letting it seep into its soul.
The name ‘Beefeater’ refers to the Yeomen Warders who are the ceremonial guards of the Tower of London. Beefeater distillery is one of nine currently still operational in London
This gin is distilled from "100% grain spirit". The manufacturer has been in business since 1862 and is currently located in Kennington, London.
Beefeater Gin contains nine different botanicals: juniper, angelica root, angelica seeds, coriander seeds, liquorice, almonds, orris root, seville oranges, and lemon peel. Unique to Beefeater’s production is the steeping of the peel of lemons and Seville oranges, whole juniper berries and other natural botanicals for a full 24 hours prior to distillation. This long process allows for a full extraction of flavour from the botanicals, capturing a wide range of volatile oils. The distillation itself takes around eight hours to complete, overseen by master distiller Desmond Payne – with the spirit then taken to Scotland where it is blended and bottled at 40% ABV.
1 x Dolin Rouge Vermouth (375ml)
Made from the same set of recipes since 1821, Dolin Vermouth de Chambéry has long been the benchmark for fine French Vermouth.
This vermouth is notably lighter, drier and less pungent than its larger commercial counterparts. The particular mixture of plants found near Chambéry give a fresh, restrained and elegant nose, with a subtle, complex bittersweet palate.
1 x Gammel Dansk Bitter Dram (30ml)
Gammel Dansk is a Danish bitters, and the name literally means "Old Danish". It was first produced in 1967 and is flavoured with botanicals including star anise, nutmeg, ginger, laurel, gentian, Seville orange, and cinnamon. The recipe remains a secret.

THE HANKY PANKY COCKTAIL'S HISTORY
A sweet gin martini, the hanky panky has a wonderful bitter accent to the combination of gin and sweet vermouth.
The Hanky Panky was created by Ada "Coley" Coleman at the American Bar in London's Savoy Hotel somewhere between 1903 and 1923. One of Coley's regulars was Sir Charles Henry Hawtrey (1858-1923), an actor and writer who, according to Coley, was "one of the best judges of cocktails I knew." She worked up this drink for him and after drinking it down, he said, "By Jove! That is the real hanky-panky!"
Our version uses Gammel Dansk Bitter Dram for the bitter component. The Hanky Panky is referenced in The Savoy Cocktail Book by Harry Craddock .
