Cappelletti Aperitivo, known to Triveneto locals as “Specialino”, is a traditional Italian bitter made from a regional base wine and alpine herb infusion. Made with natural carmine colour, the century old recipe has remained unchanged as white wine is steeped with herbs and spices, mixed by hand daily, then filtered and bottled.

Sharing qualities with both Americano aromatised wines and red spirit-based amari, Cappelletti Aperitivo combines classic gentian bitterness and orange notes with alpine herbs and restrained sweetness over a textural vinous base. This leads to a refreshing Negroni with a dry finish, or perfectly balanced spritz.

Enjoy in a Negroni, Jasmine, or classic spritz.
About Antica Erboristeria Cappelletti:
Founded in 1909 by Giuseppe Cappelletti with the aim of providing natural herbal remedies to the people of Trentino, Cappelletti grew in the 1920s to produce Elisir Novasalus—a wine based infusion of herbs, spices, roots, and flowers. This proved popular and other liqueurs were added to the range, along with grappa. Cappelletti is family owned and run, as it has been for four generations.
