Country of origin: Australia Alcohol content: 18% ABV
South Australia is renowned for its red wines and the Adelaide Hills Distillery carefully selected old vine Grenache that emanates from the depths of McLaren Vale to form the foundation of their rosso vermouth. Showing characteristics of raspberry and blueberry with nuances of spice, chocolate and tobacco, the base wine doesn’t miss its chance to impart character to this vermouth.
Building on a rich South Australian Grenache, evoking the flavours of cherries, blueberries, spices, chocolate and tobacco, the blend of both Italian and Australian botannicals helps round out the pallate of this cracking vermouth with notes of vanilla and a well rounded herbal tone. This is supplimented by a stand out late addition of Aniseed Myrtle and quandong, alongside sunrise lime and finger lime to balance out the richness of the blend.
Use whenever an italian, sweet, rosso, or red vermouth is called for.
- Lemon Myrtle | Bright lemon sherbet and lemon verbena
- Anise Myrtle | Anise, leafy and complex
- Quandong | Stone fruit and tartness
- Finger Lime | Perfumed and floral with citrus lift
